The Campaign for Common Ownership (CCO) is dedicated to renewing British power, prosperity, and productivity against the managed decline brought on by consecutive Labour and Conservative governments.

CCO champions the cause of British industry, unleashing our productive potential, and re-asserting national sovereignty over our industrial, technical, and energy sectors.

CCO holds to the conviction that all policy is grounded first and foremost in energy and industrial policy – without sovereignty over energy, Britain remains at the mercy of foreign and private interests; without sovereignty over industry, Britain is unable to meet the demands of a rapidly changing world. CCO is not a think-tank or a policy mill; we represent no vested interest but the national interest. Essential and far-reaching reforms must be undertaken if Britain is to serve her people in an epoch defined by accelerated technological development and turbulent social/economic transformation.

CCO is committed to the full-scale modernisation and reconstruction of Britain's once-powerful industrial economy. We stand for the right to work meaningful and productive jobs, the right to free time through a progressive reduction of the working day, the right for the British people to reap the full rewards of our natural resources and industries.

CCO fights for sovereignty. The last thirty years have taught us that real sovereignty is only possible with sovereign control of the economy. We demand a re-set of Britain's place in the world, to restore our greatness by means of an economy equipped to provide for the British people and allow the nation to properly and peacefully negotiate on the world's stage.

CCO stands for reason in both domestic and international affairs. The younger generations in Britain are the first since World War II to experience a definite decline in living standards; energy is more expensive, jobs provide less meaning, irresponsible spending and taxation policies have crippled the nation's youth, and the government exacerbates all this by cutting Britain off from cheap energy sources, enacting costly regulations in the energy sector, and refusing to properly negotiate with sovereign, development-first countries like China and Russia.

CCO believes that only strong countries can make lasting peace. The road to regain Britain's lost strength is by restoring, rebuilding, and reaping the full rewards of our industrial and energy capacity. It means throwing out tired orthodoxies both political and geopolitical; rediscovering the British industrial revolutionary tradition; taking the fight to malicious and incompetent private managers; demanding that our economy and our politicians serve the British people before all else.
